A Whole New Outlook Against St Louis

More changes were made by the Gold Coast Football Club in preparation of the match against St Louis. Sealy and Jankauskas have been scratched for Simms and Cruz. "We just want to get a more healthy roster as we head towards these all important games. It is going to take a strong effort to defeat St Louis but as we have seen it is not impossible to defeat that club" said a Suns spokesperson. The Suns put up a good fight against St Louis the last time and perhaps now that there is a kink in the armor this is a great opportunity to pull out a win. "They are beatable" Starters: Ching, Oduro, Galindo, Braun, Ubiparipovic, McCarty, Noonan, Jewsbury. Goal Keeper: Onstad. Subs: Cruz, Stammler, Simms. Reserves: Beckerman, Alonso

Luck of the win

GOLD COAST 2
BURUD TOWN 1

Sometimes you need a little bit of luck. Without making excuses, the Gold Coast Football Club failed to meet the deadline for roster submission. "We were forced to go with our last line up and hope for the best. In all honesty we had plans to do some things different. We has a lot of new players to showcase. It should be said that the score would have ended the same but its not a position you want to be in" said a Suns spokesperson. The win was not pretty but is a welcomed one. It puts the club only 2 points from a playoff position.

Still a work in progress

GOLD COAST 1
GATEWAY UNITED 3

A break in the schedule is just what might be needed to help break Gold Coast FC out of its funk. The Sun's latest loss to Gateway United was not pretty. Brian Ching was the lone scorer. With a record of 4-6, the first line of business will be to get back to an even record and then Gold Coast FC can focus on making a run for the playoffs and the Majors Cup competition.
"10 games and 12 points tallied is not going to cut it, but we are confident our best football/soccer is ahead of us. We don't need to be on top of the table, we just need to get in the door to play after the regular season schedule ends. We realize the Honors Trophy is out of our reach and realistically is was not a goal of ours in our first season anyways." said a Sun's spokesperson.

Looking for one more win before the break

Nothing would be better than to grab a win before the break in the season. A win would also put Gold Coast FC in fine position to begin the second half as well. The lineup for Game 10 against Gateway United is as follows...Starters: Ching, Oduro, Braun, Alonso, McCarty, Magee, Jewsbury, Galindo, Onstad-GK. Subs: Jankauskas, Nyassi, Sealy. Reserves: Beckerman, Levesque.
