The Gold Coast Football Club is heading into a short break having secured it's 10th win on the season after defeating bitter rivals Union Southern California over the weekend to secure the California Cup. "The Cup is ours again!" said management. When the club returns from break, the Suns will challenge their crosstown rivals Sacramento Republic of the USL in the 2nd leg of the River City Cup in an attempt to grab that derbies first trophy. The Republic lead in agg 5-3.
