With a certain losing record facing the Gold Coast at the seasons end, the front office has its work cut out to revamp for a better future. On Saturday the club took its first steps to build a stronger attack in 2015. Frank Lampard is a proven scorer and will be the kind of veteran that will hopefully provide a consistency that is needed to win BSL hardware. "Gold Coast F.C. is pleased to welcome Frank Lampard signing him to a Designated Player contract for 2015." said a Suns Spokesperson. Released from the first team was Troy Perkins.
