Benny! Benny! Benny! Scores Late Winner

Gold Coast squeezed out a late victory over the Spartans thanks to 2 very late scores from Benny Feilhaber. The shorthanded squad fought bravely and looked to be heading towards a 1-1 result which would have been completely acceptable from managements perspective, but the last minute scores were a perfect way to grab the maximum points and improve to a 3-1-1 record on the year.

Suns Split Results Over Weekend

With Natl' team callup's taking a bite out of the starting lineup, the Suns looks unorganized and fell to Burud Town in week 4 of the BSL season putting an end to the 3 game unbeaten streak. Thankfully, in Majors Cup qualifiers, the Suns doubled up on the Spartans to get off to a good start. Unfortunately, the Suns will be very short handed this weekend against the Spartans rematch for BSL week 5. But, the club has made the decision to not rush out and sign temporary replacements to fill the short term gaps. "You don't mess with a winning lineup to win 1 match" said the club spokesperson. "We'll just have to claw out a win with the guys available."
