Suns Friendly Against Club Tijuana

The Gold Coast Football Club welcomes Club Tijuana to Sacramento to play in a friendly match this weekend at Suns Stadium. "It's not the BSL Final, but its an opportunity to have a little fun and play some football" said the Suns spokesperson.

This is only the 2nd friendly Gold Coast FC has participated in and the first in 2 years!

The club would also like to announce that trade offers will be acknowledge during the offseason. "It goes without saying Gold Coast has a reputation of making moves and making trades in the winter. This offseason will be no different."

Early Off Season

Gold Coast FC completed its 2012 schedule with another defeat. The disappointing season leaves many questions going into the off season. The club compiled a 6-12-4 record finishing in 10th place in the league table, and 10th place in the MCQ.

Outscored and Outplayed

A Jeff Larentowicz goal on Saturday was the only good news the Suns could muster from a horrid match against Gateway United. Gold Coast Lineup Week 22: Lindpere, Cummings, Larentowicz, Frings, Mwanga, Mapp, Cesar, Bernier, GK: Reis. Subs: Zakuani, Romero, Jacobson

Not Quite A Full 90

The Suns built a 2-0 with scores from Bernier and Mapp, but could not hold the lead and had to settle for a 2-2 decision against Rose City in week 20 action. Gold Coast Lineup Week 21: Lindpere, Cummings, Larentowicz, Frings, Mwanga, Mapp, Cesar, Bernier, GK: Reis. Subs: Zakuani, Romero, Jacobson

Bottom Feeding

Gold Coast FC took on the last place club in the BSL and got a 2-0 win over the Quest. "A win is a win and that is something to be positive about" said a Suns Spokesperson.
